Description

Passport Reader 303 is a stand-alone mobile (portable) image capturing and processing device with integrated RFID reader.

The Passport Reader 303 unit is the masterpiece of the new generation's portable document readers.

The main goal during its development process was to create a stand-alone and mobile image capturing, RFID reading and processing device, thus making the use of additional desktop PCs or laptops unnecessary. To achieve this goal, our developers integrate in a just 22.4*23.2*12.4cm size (without battery) massive black box an industrial computer with display and keyboard and all the connectors needed in order to use it as a regular PC.

Passport Reader 303 takes both normal (white) and infra-red (IR) images with 200 dpi resolution, and use fast image taking and processing method and reliable OCR operation. The device is able to read the most popular chips used in the new generation ePassports.

The optimised power consumption and the professional batteries offer more than 3 hours autonomy.

The Passport Reader 303 is delivered with an easy-to-use API supporting C/C++ ,Visual Basic, VB.NET, Delphi and Java environments on the embedded Windows platform. Using this functions library, custom-tailored end-user applications can easily be developed thus meeting special user requirements.

Its structure, the optical characteristics, the built-in industrial computer and the comprehensive functions library make Passport Reader 303 a considerable and cost-effective solution for any application where mobility, high quality, robust and compact construction is a must.
